Welcome to Frankish Training. This website is dedicated to the development and growth of Trauma Informed Care as a model of working with people with disabilities. We currently have individual theorist modules available to help support staff work with vulnerable people, particularly to meet their emotional needs and environmental issues and those interested in forensic services.
Dr Pat Frankish has developed an assessment tool for observing an individual’s emotional development level. The arrested or interupted emotional development is considered to be a response to traumatic events. The tool has also been found to be useful in assessing the reversal of the emotional developmental stages in people with dementia. Further information is available on request.
